Welcome to the our Etosha Camp webpage. We would like to welcome you to enjoy the real Namibian nature, wildlife and great hospitality. You can expect something distinctly different from any vacation you take. Along with us you will discover the unparalleled enchantment of African trophy hunting in an exotic destination such as Namibia.
About Our Etosha Camp
Our Camp is owned and operated by the Brandt family, Rex(snr) and Rex(jnr). They are born Namibians and have a great sense of respect for hunting and for the nature. They are assisted by renowned professional Hunter Marius Berger, a personal friend of mine.
A group of professionals will attend to your daily needs. Qualified guides, drivers and cleaning staff will serve you to the tee. Hunters will have the opportunity to harvest trophies and every effort will be made to accommodate each hunter’s need.
For the non-hunter there are opportunity like hiking trials and bird watching.
Panoramic views, specially the sunset and sunrise, over the unspoiled Namibian veldt, can be enjoyed with a real Namibian sundowner and atmosphere that revives the feeling of Africa.

Namibia, a country of unexplored landscapes of breathtaking beauty, wide open spaces and extraordinary wildlife is situated in the Southwest of the continent of Africa, with the Atlantic Ocean forming the west boarder. In the centre is Windhoek, the countries capital.
Climate: Namibia has a dry climate, typical of semi-desert country. Days are mostly warm to very hot, wild nights are generally cool. Rains usually falls in summer.
Surface Area: 824 269km˛
Population: 1.8 Million people. Density of 1.7 people/km˛. It is the lowest in the world because 22% of the arid area includes desert area.

Independency: 21 March 1990
President: Dr. Hifikepunye Pohamba
Currency: The Namibian Dollar (N$) is currently fixed and has the same value as the South African Rand.
Because of the countries richness, extraordinary views, rich cultures, unique traditions, protected environment, Namibia opens its doors to tourism. The countries economy depends largely on tourism.
In a few words, Namibia respects its nature, fauna and flora, making it one of the most desirable countries to visit. Unforgettable is the word which describes the intimate relationship between nature and yourself. Become one with Namibia!
Etosha National Park Etosha National park is the biggest attraction in the country and one of the world’s largest Game Reserves. It is only 60km from Rexes Hunting Farm and easy driving. Etosha National Park allows no hunting, but the natural balance is kept – thanks to plenty of lion, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas. Etosha hosts many different kinds of wildlife in large numbers and is perfect for taking wonderful photographs. To visit Etosha is a must for any traveler. The center of Etosha National Park is formed by a large saltpan surrounded by grass and thorn savanna. A long time ago the Kunene River fed this saltpan and it was an enormous lake. Today the river has a different course and the lake became a dry saltpan.
There are three camps: Namutoni in the north east, Halali in the middle and Okaukeujo in the south. Namutoni: The waterhole is frequently visited by breeding herds of elephants. The camp is 140km from Okaukeujo and 70km from Halali. Halali: The waterhole built at the camp has been well accepted by the game. The camp is 70km from Okaukeujo. Okaukeujo: This is the most popular camp, due to the floodlight waterhole.

AccommodationOur objective is to serve you, the client to the tee. We offer you four very comfortable chalets with private facilities, a lapa which includes the kitchen, dining area and relaxation area. There is also a swimming pool and we supply solar power in every room.
From the kitchen you can expect traditional Namibian and African dishes and will be spoiled with African drinks. At night we will provide you with a sought after experience an unbelievable fire under the Namibian stars and not to mention the good company in our lapa!
Location
We are located in the north west of Namibia in Southern Africa. It is part of the Etosha Conservancy, at one of the plato’s mountain sides, forming the Gateway to Etosha National Park, in the Kunene region.
The head office is situated in Outjo, a small town 320km North West from the capital of Namibia, namely Windhoek. Our Hunting Farm is 107km from Outjo and 60km from the Okaukuejo Gate of the Etosha National Park.

Hunting
Hunting safari’s are our specialty. You will go hunting in an environment of breathtaking beauty. Our hunting guests will be looked after personally and individually. We thus only cater for a limited number of hunters per year.
Game: We present the hunter a magnificent prime trophy hunting territory. The ten most popular species of African game occur in abundance, including the Kudu, Oryx, Zebra, Hartebeest, Springbuck, Warthog, Black and Blue Wildebeest and Eland. Smaller game is also available, as well as indigenous (denizen) bird life can be observed.
NAPHA Medals: We are registered at the Namibia Professional Hunting Association (NAPHA). NAPHA awards gold, silver and bronze medals for mature animals that qualify The Safari Club International (SCI) record book recording standard for the NAPHA medal system. Please visit the NAPHA website for more information on the medals and hunting in Namibia.
Hunting terrain: Our hunting area of 18000ha / 45 000acres forms part of the Etosha Conservancy (400 000ha / 1 000 000 acres), where we can hunt species of game not available in our area. This huge area has excellent hunting opportunities and professional hunting guides. The hunting terrain of Mopanie savannah with Acacia trees, grass and open plains offers versatile and exciting options to hunting enthusiasts: stalking; hunting trips; well installed raised hides.
Hunting season: The hunting season in Namibia is from 01 February till 30 November. Our hunting season is from 01 April till end (30) of November – that is the best period for hunting – which enables hunters to schedule in the time frame that fit their individual program best.
Bow hunting: Bow hunting facilities are available and we accommodate bow hunters. You can also combine bow hunting with rifle hunting. Bowhunting is done in seperate areas from our gun hunting. Our exclusive bowhunting area is 8500 game rich acres.
Professional hunting: We offer you professional and qualified guides with a lot of experience. Hunters will have the opportunity to shoot excellent trophies and every effort will be made to accommodate each hunter’s need till you are satisfied. Professionally qualified guides, on a fair chase - 1 x 1 or 2x1 bases – conduct the hunt.
Non-hunter/Additional: To complete your hunting adventure, we offer hiking trials where you can enjoy nature in a more intimate form ending your day with a sunset or as the night advances, the unbelievable starry sky or waking up to nature’s sound! We also offer you day trips to Etosha National Park where you can delight yourself with infinite surprises. This is a must for people who want to photograph and record Mother Nature! We can arrange luxurious SPA facilities at a nearby lodge.
